Square holes metal sheets structure, Piazza Verdi La Spezia

The project:

A complete redevelopment of Piazza Verdi by architect Gianni Vannetti together with the architects Baglioni, Ciappi, Dini and Franchi winners of an international competition with the collaboration of the artist Daniel Buren. A space designed to be on human scale and to give a contrast with the city. Gaudenzi was called to participate by providing square holes metal sheets, which allow a night light game.
